Hello and welcome to WWE Raw Results!
This looks like it’s going to be a fun show, and we’re set to kick it off with a fun match for the United States Championship as Set Rollins begins his quest for championship gold.
Let’s get to the action!
United States Championship – Bobby Lashley (c) vs. Seth Rollins
This had a great opening as it was treated like a main event with the entrances and both competitors being announced. The crowd went silent as they felt each other out at the beginning.
Even when Lashley threw Rollins across the ring time and again, the fans got a Rollins chant going, and Rollins switched to psychological games and lured Lashley to the floor.
Rollins gained the upper hand and went for the Stomp, but Lashley didn’t move, and he then sent Rollins to the floor with a clothesline and ran him over with a shoulder block as we headed to commercial.

Rollins kept looking for an opening, and once he found it he kept at him with a series of moves and holds on Lashley’s right arm as he sought to wear him down.
They traded blows as they each had comebacks and pin attempts in what quickly became a pay-per-view caliber match.
Lashley went for a superplex, but Rollins countered with a bucklebomb for a near pinfall, then he locked in a crossface Lashley powered out of.
Lashley avoided a Stomp and countered with a Hurt Lock Rollins eventually broke after knocking the ref to the side and hitting a low blow.
Riddle came out and distract Rollins for Lashley to hit a spear for the win.
While this kept Rollins looking strong, it felt wrong to end like this unless there’s a rematch coming. This was pure Vince booking.

Backstage, Damage CTRL arrived in a limo to get ready for their championship celebration.
Alexa wants a piece of Bayley
Damage CTRL came to the ring and it was quickly decked out with balloons and streamers.
They wasted no time in saying they needed each other, but they don’t need Asuka, Alexa Bliss, and Bianca Belair and Kai went down the line insulting each of them.
After Belair, Asuka, and Bliss came out Alexa challenged Bayley, and Bayley tried to get the jump on her and ate a right instead.
Austin Theory vs. Kevin Owens
Looks like we’re not wasting any time in getting to the second promoted match of the night, and this should be a good one after Owen’s heated rant last week.
Theory attacked Owens at ringside before the match started, and Owens pulled himself into the ring and told the ref to ring the bell.
He took Theory down and hammered on him when he charged in, but Theory turned it around pretty quickly. Despite Owens fighting back, Theory remained in control as we headed to commercial.

Owens had to get a little dirty as he grabbed Theory’s nose and nearly ripped it off his face before catching Theory with a DDT off the ropes.
It took a good portion of the match, but Owens recovered enough to put up a solid fight and get some momentum going.
Theory went on a tear with a series of pin attempts, and Theory went for his MITB briefcase but Johnny Gargano took it and Owens closed it off with a pop up powerbomb for the pin.
After the match, Gargano entered the ring and dropped the briefcase on Theory’s little Austin.
