PAC is pulling double duty tonight, and after his match against Dark Order alongside Death Triangle – he now defends the AEW All-Atlantic Championship against a very pissed off Trent Beretta. The most recent defense of the All-Atlantic Championship saw PAC use the bell hammer to defeat Orange Cassidy, and now one of his Best Friends is coming for revenge. Beretta has been on the cusp of breaking out as a singles star since the early days of AEW, and winning gold tonight would remind everyone he’s more than a solid tag team wrestler.

Wrestling PAC To PAC Championship Matches

PAC was still in the ring after tapping out Alex Reynolds, and Trent wasted no time hitting the ring. He’d hit the forearm smashes to put PAC to a knee, before a rolling elbow to the face. PAC was sent to the floor, and hit with a vaulting body press from Trent.

Pressure was kept on with some heavy handed chops, before some strikes in the ropes on the ropes. PAC was exhausted after a twenty minute trios match, and couldn’t find his feet – before being kicked out to the floor with a shotgun dropkick. Trent would try to keep PAC in the ring, knowing he can’t win on the floor – but nailing a spear all the same.

Running knee to the back of the head in the ring would get a two count – before PAC would roll to the floor to find his feet, and nailing a superkick. The timekeepers table was set up – but PAC was the one who would be put on it. Trent would look to run into a dive, but caught himself as PAC would dodge.

PAC would make his way around the ring, only to take a dropkick through the ropes. In the ring, Trent was caught on the top rope, before being taken down with a massive superplex. PAC would use the ropes to find his feet, before stomping on the face of Trent.

Trent Beretta Gets Hit Between The Eyes

The crowd would start a chant for PAC as he gained control of this match, before Trent countered a charge into the corner and stomped him into the mat. A high angle German Suplex would follow, before the Release Half & Half Suplex. The tornado DDT would spike PAC, but Trent would only get a two count.

Piledriver got another near fall, but PAC was proving he is the true Iron Man of AEW with this performance. PAC would crawl to the apron, and would hit the brainbuster off the stage through the table he previously set up – with Trent landing neck first on the legs of the table. Black Arrow would be countered in the ring, but PAC blocked the spear. Inside Cradle would get a near fall for Trent, before PAC would almost set up a moonsault. PAC was shoved on the top rope, and taken down with an Avalanche Half & Half Suplex, and still somehow stayed in this fight.

Crunchy would be set up, and PAC would block into Brutalizer – but Trent found the bottom rope with his foot. PAC would get desperate and grab the bell hammer, and would be able to use it for a cheap shot during a suplex to remain All Atlantic Champion.

After the match – Orange Cassidy hit the ring to attack PAC – but was held back by security. Will Cassidy get another shot at PAC? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.

A wrestling fan practically since birth, who has been hooked since he got his first toy wrestling ring for Christmas as a child. Since getting access to the internet, he's watched more wrestling than he could ever remember from all around the world. It's hard to keep track of what happens in the wild world of professional wrestling, but he always tries to stay up to date. Note: No relation to Tully Blanchard of Four Horsemen fame (probably).
