Daniel Cormier predicts what the outcome of the upcoming Jake Paul against Anderson Silva match will be. To give you a hint, Jake Paul might not like it.
It is as if Jake Paul has a worthy opponent for the first time in a while. Even UFC President Dana White suggested that Jake Paul finally has a real fight arranged. On Saturday, the 29th of October, the “Youtube” boxer will take on the UFC legend Anderson Silva at the Gila River Arena in Phoenix, Arizona.
Daniel Cormier Suggests An Anderson Silva Win In His Boxing Match Against Jake Paul
Jake Paul has a professional boxing record of 5-0-0 and enters the fight undefeated. Some people see this as an advantage. However, the fact that he might lose for the first time is putting additional unnecessary pressure on the young boxer.
“My toughest test yet. I respect the legend, but I must exterminate him.” – Jake Paul said in one of the press conferences.
The UFC Hall of Famer and a legend of the sport, Daniel Cormier, weighs in on an Anderson Silva win. The UFC commentator said that he expects a competitive match. However, in the end, he predicts the more experienced fighter will leave victorious.
“I think Anderson Silva wins the fight.” – Cormier said in an interview for ESPN. “If Jake Paul wins – honestly, he’s a kid that’s in his prime, and I say that knowing that now Jake Paul can fight. The guy can fight. I’m not one of the people that say this kid’s a joke. This kid is not a joke. The kid can fight, and there are many reasons as to why he can fight. But we talk about Anderson, all that he did – Anderson beating Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. is bigger and better than anything Paul’s ever did.”
“That is much different from beating Ben Askren, Tyron Woodley twice and whatever the YouTube guy was because those guys were wrestlers that learned to box.” – Daniel Cormier continued his rant. “Chavez never wrestled. He was a guy that picked up boxing gloves as a kid and fought all the way to professionals. He made a whole bunch of money and everything. That is the biggest moment between the two and the biggest accomplishment between the two.”
Anderson Silva is an extremely successful MMA fighter and a proven boxer. He has been into boxing for several decades, even though he did not pursue a career in it until now. Not only that he presents a threat to Jake Paul, but he is also a threat to world-class boxers as well.
What do you think? Do you agree with DC and predict an easy Anderson Silva win?
