‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set to dive into some fun spoilery goodies to set the stage for the nest episode.
There’s some shifting going on in the power structure in Genoa City, and it looks like this episode is going to be a character building one with some seeds planted to continue the fun.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Tuesday, October 4: Already in the know
It looks like Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will be brought up to speed on the return of Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) by his children, and we expect him to make the connection between Tucker and Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters), thanks to his wife.
So, it’ll appear he’s not concerned as things will make sense to him and he’ll already be a move or two ahead for some reason.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers only think it’s Tucker because Victor hasn’t been warring with anyone else at the moment, but he was a little upset with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman).
So, when it says he’s one step ahead, we think it’ll be about know more than Jack and he’ll sit back and wait for his moment to shine.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Tuesday, October 4: Putting their plan into motion
Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) are going to put their heads together as they continue strategizing for the upcoming takeover of Chancellor-Winters.
This will be an interesting interaction as we expect Nate to hang on her every word and absorb as much as he can from her.
The reason, as we see it, is simply because he’ll appreciate her aggressiveness as it’ll mirror his own. He’ll feel more like she appreciates him than anyone else and it’ll help cement his belief in what he’s doing.
And since Victor has shown little to no qualms about throwing his own family under the bus or using them as pawns when it suited him, the two could get alone perfectly.
We still have a hard time expecting Victor to accept someone that would betray his family, but if there’s a profit or power to be gained, Victor can be very agreeable.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Tuesday, October 4: Esther is hired
To help drive home the betrayal even more, the writers have pulled out an old favorite to be hired by Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and that’s going to be Esther Valentine (Kate Linder).
We’re in the dark for what position she’s been hired for, hence why we think it’s just the writers using the lovable character to get more feels going when Nate betrays them all.
