Kanye West is probably already under close inspection from the liberal political wing in the USA already. He is there because of his controversial statements, his controversial character, and his somewhat different views on many problems. His newest interview with Tucker Carlson just adds up fuel to the fire and this time it may be the final touch that will contribute to Kanye West’s total cancellation.
It is almost like Tucker Carlson has a sixth sense for public happenings that attract political attention, and takes advantage of them each time. The ‘White Lives Matter’ fashion show is not an exclusion.
Kanye West Confesses To Tucker Carlson The Real Reason He Chose ‘White Lives Matter’
Appearing on the Tucker Carlson show is not a joke. Appearing on any platform with a reach as broad Fox News does is a serious pulpit. We can basically say that Tucker Carlson gave Kanye West a platform on which he can extend his voice. It is very obvious that Kanye West’s and Tucker Carlson’s political views match. Both of them were strong supporters of ex-President Trump, and both of them have similar views when the ‘White Lives Matter’ topic is at hand.
According to reports, Tucker Carlson has negotiated with Kanye West to fly back from Paris to the USA just so they can conduct the interview. Kanye West allegedly fled Paris right after the Paris Fashion Week event. He came straight to LA to do the interview.
The pair met and did the interview in Kanye West’s LA office on Thursday. They had an hour-long conversation about the ‘White Lives Matter’ T-shirts and the controversy surrounding them. For most of the granted 1 hour in the interview, Kanye West spoke and tried to back up his actions and decisions behind the controversy. He told Tucker that he feels like ‘people still have the wrong idea about his intentions’.
People on the internet already labeled Kanye’s move with the shirts as a desperate cry for attention. However, celebrities unified their opinions and massively push the narrative that Kanye West is simply – a bully.
“To answer why I wrote ‘White Lives Matter‘ in a shirt is because they do. It’s the obvious thing. My so-called friends/handlers around me told me if I said that I liked Trump that my career would be over. That my life would be over.” – Kanye West started the conversation with Tucker Carlson. “They said stuff like people get killed for wearing a hat like that. They threatened my life and basically said that I would be killed for wearing the hat. I had someone call me last night and said anybody wearing a ‘white lives matter’ shirt is going to be green-lit. That means they are going to beat them up if I wear it. I’m like, you know, ‘Okay, green light me then.”
