Aussie Open might have recently failed to claim the IWGP World Tag Team Championships, they remain the NJPW Strong Tag Team Champions, and are the only team to have ever held the belts. Tonight, they meet tag team legends in the Motor City Machine Guns and two Young Lions of the LA Dojo with The DKC & Kevin Knight.
Both teams are keen to leave with gold around their waists, with Chris Sabin & Alex Shelley looking to add to their legacy, and DKC & Knight looking to write the first chapter of theirs. DKC & Knight would defeat former IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champions in Forever Hooligans (Rocky Romero & Alex Koslov) last night – proving they have the skills to be champions.
