Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have no intention of coming back to the UK with the US having become their home.
Harry And Meghan ‘Don’t Want To Come Back’ To The UK-Says Royal Expert Katie Nicholl
That is according to royal expert Katie Nicholl. This should not come as a surprise following the approach taken by the Sussexes and the royals.
The Sussexes fuelled rumours that they could be attempting to have another child to add to Archie and Lilibet. Therefore, this would not be considered if the couple were not settled in their new lives.
Meanwhile, King Charles III made it absolutely clear in his first speech to the nation that he wished the couple the best with their ‘lives overseas.’
And with the Sussexes having major projects in the pipeline, including Harry’s memoir as well as their Netflix docuseries, there is no reason to be moving anywhere else.
In her comments, Katie said: “Clearly, she and Harry are very much focused on their new lives and what they’re doing.
“She talks about the docuseries, although she sort of skirted the issue as to exactly what it’s about and what we can expect.” With that being said, the prospect of the pair returning to the UK are very unlikely.
During the last two appearances in the UK, they made a very hasty exit. Following the former Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee, they decided to leave prior to the event being concluded.
Meanwhile, after having attended the former monarch’s funeral, they did not hang around to mend things with Prince William and Kate Middleton.
As such, the Sussexes have made their position very clear. Katie’s following comments confirmed as much: “I think they don’t want to come back.
“And I think that interview sort of makes it very clear that this is their new life — this is what it’s all about for them.”
As long as Harry and Meghan are happy, then who are we to question otherwise. And that is the most important thing to remember going forward.
So there you have it folks. What did you think about this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
