‘Real Housewives of New Jersey’ star Teresa Giudice has been left hurt by the comments from her brother, Joe Gorga, about her marriage to Luis Ruelas.

Things between Teresa and the Gorgas were already tense since Joe and his wife Melissa Gorga decided to skip her wedding. That did not sit very well with Teresa, as she made it absolutely clear that money and fame had damaged her family.
And given that things were already so tense, Teresa was left devastated by Joe’s comments at BravoCon 2022 in which he apparently stated that their marriage would not last.
In her comments, Teresa said: “That’s not my brother. Like, I don’t know who he is now, like, what kind of character he’s trying to play. I was hurt by it. Luis was hurt by it.
“I mean, as everyone saw, he did not come to my wedding. That hurt us, and by what he just did at Bravocon, that’s very mean-spirited, very sad.”
This is entirely understandable since Joe was very brutal about the whole thing. During his interactions with the host Andy Cohen at the time, Joe was asked which he believed would last longer:
Teresa’s marriage with Luis or his infamous comedy career. Melissa decided to remain neutral by not saying anything. However, Joe decided to uncharacteristically attack his sister by stating the following: “I’m gonna answer the question. My stand-up career, baby!”
The fans on social media were devastated by this. A certain subset of people lamented the fact that the family could not put aside their differences in order to wish Teresa happiness.
After all, she is old enough to make her own decisions. One person wrote: “These shows break up families! That’s what sad! #RHONJ.” As of now, there is nothing to suggest that Teresa and the Gorgas will be able to reconcile anytime soon.
