Back at Clash At The Castle, The Bloodline would grow in numbers once again. Drew McIntyre was prevented from taking down Roman Reigns due to the interference of Solo Sikoa. Formerly part of the NXT roster, Sikoa now runs with Roman Reigns, The Usos, Paul Heyman and Sami Zayn on Smackdown Live – with Sikoa working as The Enforcer of the faction.
Solo Sikoa Would Eliminate Himself From Royal Rumble For His Tribal Chief
While sitting down and speaking with Riju Dasgupta of Sportskeeda Wrestling, Sikoa would be asked about the chance of him winning the Royal Rumble in January, and challenging Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. Sikoa would respond with the following, taking his role as The Enforcer of The Bloodline seriously.
“Well I might not win the Royal Rumble. I might eliminate myself. I don’t know, you never know. If that opportunity presents itself, Maybe. But I know my role as the enforcer and that it’s to protect — anybody that tries to step up to Roman Reigns, gets knocked down.”
Right now, the favorites to win the 2023 Royal Rumble don’t include Solo Sikoa, with names like The Rock, Bray Wyatt, Drew McIntyre and Cody Rhodes topping the list. However, Sikoa proved his abilities in big matches recently, ending the NXT North American Championship reign of Carmelo Hayes, and defeating Sheamus on Smackdown Live.
Roman Reigns Is Set To Face Logan Paul Next
Right now, the next challenger of Roman Reigns is internet megastar turned boxer turner WWE superstar Logan Paul. This match is set for Crown Jewel on November 5th, 2022. Paul has a slim chance of winning the match, but is undefeated in his WWE career, even having a victory over two time WWE Champion The Miz from Summerslam earlier this year.
It’s highly likely that come Royal Rumble, Reigns will still be champion. With him holding both the WWE & Universal Championships- he will be the man who the winner of the Men’s Royal Rumble will challenge, with the NXT Championship as the other possible option.
