Several 1000-Lb Sisters fans have assumed that Amy Halterman has decided to discontinue appearing on the show. She has been featured on the show for three consecutive seasons. So far, the TLC series has focused mainly on her since its inception. Amy alongside her sister, Tammy Slaton have lost some amount of fat since they appeared on the show.
Some Fans Think Amy’s Weight Loss Journey Is A Sham
Many fans are of the opinion that the reason she is not willing to come back is that her weight loss is fake while others believed that she has gained back the weight she lost on the show which affected her self-esteem. She initially lost a lot of weight and she underwent gastric bypass surgery, despite her doctor’s warning, she got pregnant immediately, and now, she is a mother to two boys.
Why Fans Think Amy Halterman Does Not Want To Return To The Show
Unfortunately, she had rapidly gained more weight after childbirth. Some fans claimed that she shouldn’t have neglected her post-surgery healthy lifestyle despite being a good mother. However, some fans think she hasn’t been eating healthy, with no portion control which made her gain lots of weight. With this, she might not have the courage to face viewers.
Indeed, fans want her to feature in 1000-Lb Sisters season 4, but they know that they might be living in an illusion. Tammy Slaton recently shared that filming is ongoing for the new season, but fans were in doubt because TLC hasn’t confirmed it officially. Amy has only been sharing pictures of her kids and her creative hobbies in recent times, and fans concluded that she is scared of sharing her new look online, which is the reason she stopped posting her pictures.
However, if 1000-Lb Sisters season 4 eventually airs, it is sure not going to be the same. Tammy is currently in rehab while Tammy is now a mother of two. Some of the viewers might lose interest in the show if Amy discontinues while some are indifferent about her, they think Amy or not, the show must continue.
