Mandy Rose won the NXT Women’s Championship at Halloween Havoc in 2021, and no one has been able to take the belt from her since. She’s been a fighting champion, and while she might rely on the outside interference of Toxic Attraction quite often – has also proved her ability to simply win matches lately. However, tonight might be the end of the legacy she’s built as champion – as former NXT UK Women’s Champion Alba Fyre has been able to stay a few steps ahead of the champion on the build to his match. Fyre has rebuilt her career after a tough transition from the UK, and tonight will look to burn the reign of Rose to the ground – and perhaps even send Toxic Attraction packing from NXT.
Haunted House Brawl Sees Alba Fyre Take Toxic Attraction Down To Just Rose
However, instead of a normal match – Fyre would lure Toxic Attraction out into a haunted house. Toxic Attraction had the numbers edge, some flashlights – and a plan to pull Fyre back to the ring and finish her there. Dolin was a fan of the building, fitting her vibe – while Jayne was terrified. Rose would suggest splitting up – with Jayne claiming that’s a horrible idea.
Jayne would ask why Dolin is enjoying herself – and the answer was because it was Halloween and this is fun – before they split up. Fyre would take Jayne down first, while Dolin found Chucky sitting at a table for a tea party. Dolin was the next to fall – getting fridged after a superkick sent her into a butcher’s fridge.
Mandy Rose was the last one standing, and Fyre would come at her with a baseball bat. Rose tried to disarm her, before almost being hit with the Fyre Bomb. Fyre would choke Rose out, before finishing Dolin & Jayne off – and heading back to the arena with Toxic Attractions car.
Never Count Mandy Rose Out
They’d pass the ambulance taking Damon Kemp off on their way to the ring, with Rose having a chance to recover – as the bell rang. The title match was official, and Fyre would hit a tornado DDT for the two count. Rose would be able to hit a set of corner spears before a Fallaway Slam.
Fyre would have a rear chinlock applied – before being forced into the corner and stomped. Rose would choke Fyre on the bottom rope, before hitting a spinebuster for the two count. Fyre would hit a slingshot powerbomb, before heading up top and hitting the Swanton Bomb for the two count.
Jayne & Dolin somehow made it to the arena, and yanked the referee from the ring. Fyre took Dolin down, but she’d land on the referee. Rose was hit with the Fyre Bomb, and the visual pinfall was seen by everyone – except the referee. Toxic Shock landed on the floor, before Kissed By A Rose in the ring for the finish.
