Alba Fyre is keen on being the one to finally end the NXT Women’s Championship reign of Mandy Rose. After abducting and attacking the champion last week, Fyre is in action with Jacy Jayne of Toxic Attraction here tonight. Fyre plans to tear through this faction to ensure that a potential match at Halloween Havoc is one on one – and that starts with Jayne tonight.
Sonya Deville Aligns With Toxic Attraction
Fyre would look for the Fyre Bomb early as she blocked a lariat, but Jayne would slip free Strikes would be traded in the middle of the ring, before Fyre would use a drop down to trip Jayne near the ropes. Gigi Dolin provided the momentary distraction, allowing Jayne to hit the rolling elbow. A choke in the corner would get the referees eyes on Jayne, as Dolin got a cheap shot in.
Fyre would hit a gordbuster to set up some midkicks to a kneeling Jayne, who came back with a running neckbreaker. Dolin would pull Jayne from the ring as Fyre gained control, only for both to be dropped with a suicide dive. Jayne would get a roll up with a handful of tights, but wouldn’t get the pin. A superkick and Fyre Bomb later, and Alba Fyre gets her first win over Toxic Attraction.
After the bell, Sonya Deville would emerge to attack Fyre – apparently aligning with with old pal Mandy Rose and Toxic Attraction. She’d lead Dolin & Jayne in beating Fyre down, setting up a triple powerbomb through the announce table.
Stacks Looks For Revenge For His Fallen Don
Recently, Tony D’Angleo would suffer an injury during his match with Wes Lee – allowing Wes Lee to qualify for the ladder match over the NXT North American Championship at Halloween Havoc. This was a simple accident, but Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo saw it a bit different. Stacks feels Lee did this on purpose to get an easy path to Halloween Havoc, but won’t let that happen. Now tonight he goes one one one with Lee, as he seeks vengeance for The Don of NXT.
Stacks would go after the leg of Lee as his match began, trying to make him suffer the same injury as his Don. Lee would block before being Stacks drove his shoulder into the midsection of Lee. Stacks would hit the chop block, before punching away at the knee on the mat. A lifting kneebreaker would follow, before Lee would fire up and hit a running uppercut into the corner.
Lee would have issues with the knee, as Stacks would set up the firemans carry neckbreaker for a two count. Stacks would be dropped, and hit with the Sprial Tap – handing Lee the victory. After the bell, Trick Williams would attack from behind – with Carmelo Hayes close behind. Oro Mensah would make the save, and Wes Lee would get the last laugh with a dive.
