We’re two matches deep into the Best of Seven Series between Death Triangle & The Elite – and so far, The Elite have not been able to record a victory. Their first match at Full Gear ended with Rey Fenix using a hammer to get the dirty victory, and they all but threw the second match by being more concerned with mocking CM Punk in Chicago. Tonight, a loss would mean that The Elite are just one match away from losing the series – and will need to be at their peak as a trio.
The Elite Kick Off A Brawl Before The Match
The Elite would charge Death Triangle up on the ramp, ensuring they start with the upper hand. Young Bucks would focus on The Lucha Bros, hitting a step up hurricanrana to Fenix before PAC took a Kotoro Crusher on the ramp. He’s wearing a protective mask after a broken nose, but that won’t do much with a bump like that.
Kenny Omega would sprint down the ramp for a V-Trigger, only for PAC to block with a superkick. Lucha Bros would roll down the ramp into cutters, as Bryce Remsburg would be desperate to get two men in the ring to start the match. Fenix & Omega would brawl on the floor by the ramp, with Penta thrown at them before Nick dove off.
Matt would look to suplex PAC off the stage, with PAC fighting free before a moonsault off the stage. Not to be outdone, Matt would jump off the stage with a crossbody to take down all three members of Death Triangle. They’d get to ringside, and Penta was rolled into the ring by Omega who followed – and the bell finally rang.
Fenix & PAC took apron powerbombs, before Penta would block Omega’s attempt before hitting some Tilt-A-Whirl Backbreakers. Matt would try for a wrecking ball dropkick, but he got Remsburg instead. Penta would hide the bell hammer in his trunks, before hitting a dive to the floor.
Omega would be taken into the ring, but Penta would be disarmed by his brother. We’d get some in-fighting from Death Triangle, with Fenix being dropped with the V-Trigger. Penta would take a double superkick and Snap Dragon Suplex. PAC would be thrown from the rin as he entered, before Penta would send The Young Bucks to the apron.
Matt Jackson Blocks The Black Arrow
PAC & Fenix took the Young Bucks off the apron, before a triangle moonsault. Omega would take the Fear Factor in the ring, but was able to kick out at two. Nick would save Omega from the Black Arrow, only to take a superkick from Fenix. Matt would make the save, catching Lucha Bros with a double Northern Lights Suplex.
PAC would hit an Avalanche Falcon Arrow on Omega, getting a near fall. Omega would be beaten down in the Death Triangle corner, throwing right hands at PAC but unable to find his way to a tag. A snap German Suplex would follow from PAC, before a massive lariat from Omega.
Nick would get the tag alongside Fenix, and nailed a superkick before the cutter for a two count. More Bang For Your Buck would follow, with Penta making the save. PAC & Penta would make the save on the BTE Trigger attempt, with Omega coming into the ring being cut down with a cutter from Fenix.
Fear Factor on Matt Jackson would follow, with PAC ready to end it with Black Arrow. He’d instead just go for a pinfall, perhaps missing his chance to win. A brainbuster would follow, getting PAC a two count. Black Arrow would be met with a two knees, and Matt would roll PAC up for the victory – putting this series at 2-1.
