Model Kate Moss caused worry amongst her fanbase with her demeanour at the 2022 Wall Street Journal Magazine Innovator Awards.
Kate Moss Worries Fans With Her Slurred Speech During The 2022 Wall Street Journal Magazine Innovator Awards-‘Cooked On Coke’
The star happened to present the 2022 Fashion Innovator award to creative director Anthony Vaccarello. And during the course of that process, it is fair to say that Kate struggled to articulate herself very well. But rather than this being a case of nerves, her speech appeared slurry to say the least.
In the speech here, we can see that Kate is taking more pauses than usual. Not only that, but her words were slurred as it appeared that she may have been on some substance.
She could be heard saying the following: “Anthony and I have worked together for — years. Since he started at Saint Laurent, I could recognise his instinct for fashion. And — I wanted to be part of that.”
Understandably, this raised a lot of concern for the following reasons. First of all, Moss was infamously known as ‘Cocaine Kate‘ after some headlines emerged showing pictures of her snorting the drug in 2005.
Therefore, the implication was that Moss may have been on something. Secondly, Kate had also developed a reputation for drinking heavily, in particular vodka.
So much so that she was once dubbed ‘The Tank’ in reference to the vast amounts of alcohol that she would consume. In response, the fans on social media were concerned for her.
One person wrote: “The streets are saying diet coke isn’t the only coke she’s an ambassador for,” while another person stated: “Cooked on coke on high heat, I feel her heart beating through her chest from here.”
Kate has yet to respond to this which is understandable due to the negative media scrutiny that would emerge, but based on what we have seen so far on social media, things are not looking good for her.
