When it comes to media coverage of the royal family, Kate Middleton always draws attention with her fashion sense.
Folks love her sense of style and while Queen Elizabeth II was unperturbed by the attention that the Princess of Wales gets, the family is under new management and King Charles III appears to be nipping that in the bud.
King Charles III Reportedly Orders Kensington Palace to Freeze Out Media On Details of Kate Middleton’s Fashion
According to Express, Kensington Palace officials have begun to withhold details around the Princess of Wales’ outfits. Not only that but the King is also reportedly frustrated with the amount of attention she’s received because of her fashion.
It made her such a star of the royal family in the press that the Kensington Palace communications office regularly gave the media the deets on her outfits for “every official engagement.”
Of course, if the media and people want to know about what or who Kate Middleton is wearing, they will find out. Who are likely to suffer from this media freeze are the designers of Middleton’s outfits who get some primo attention once she shows up in their attire.
It’s a massive nod and endorsement for those brands and really moves their outfits off the racks and mannequins.
Apparently, this isn’t new for those who have followed the royal family as King Charles III expressed the same frustration when OG fashion icon Princess Diana was the star of the show.
The only difference now is that he has much more stroke in these matters and can call the shots to keep the spotlight on him—whether he delivers with the razzle-dazzle or not.
What do think? Should King Charles III block out the media from finding out about Kate Middleton’s outfits or is he just being petty and using his power when he’s not someone who commands media adoration?
