Hello and welcome to WWE Smackdown Results! Tonight looks like it’s going to be a good show as the WWE kicks off it’s World Cup with two first round matches. Let’s get to the action!
The Brawling Brutes and Drew McIntyre came out to start the night, with Drew doing a countdown before cutting a prose for the pyro to go off.
Sheamus made sure the mic worked this time, then after asking how Hartford’s doing, he got down to how he and drew are side by side again.
The fans chanted “Ucey”, so Sheamus said he’s feeling Brutey and asked Drew to officially join them.

Drew agreed and as he went to introduce the fifth member of their team, Sami Zayn came out and went on one of his great promo runs and guaranteed the Bloodline will win Wargames.
Sheamus promised the final member of the Brawling Brutes will be unexpected and make Zayn crap his pants.
World Cup Round 1 – Ricochet vs. Mustafa Ali
Ali’s nursing bad ribs, and Ricochet took it easy on him early on and even tried to talk Ali out of continuing, and Ali hit him from behind after a break and caught him with a clothesline for a pin attempt.
Ali hit a backstabber from the top rope that sent Ricochet to the floor, but Ali was too hurt to take advantage as we headed to commercial.

Ricochet caught Ali’s crossbody over the ropes and body slammed him on the floor, but in the ring, Ali avoided a corkscrew and locked in a clutch. Ricochet made it to the ropes to break the hold.
Ricochet avoided a 450 splash and hit a shooting star on a standing Ali for the win.
Backstage, Jey ripped into Zayn for guaranteeing the Bloodline will win and as Zayn started going at it, Jimmy stepped in and told them to chill and had Zayn go for a walk before getting Jey’s head back into it.
Backstage, The Imperium and New Day got into it, and Emma gave Madcap Moss advice to use his speed.
Madcap Moss vs. Karrion Kross w/Scarlett
Moss went after Kross as soon as the bell rang with a running knee and he beat Kross down before Kross fought back and ate a suplex for his trouble.
Moss kept using his speed to send Kross to the floor with a clothesline and threw him into the barricade.

Kross hit a double underhook suplex to gain the upperhand, and Scarlett slapped Moss when the rf’s back was turned and it fired Moss up.
Moss hit a pair of shoulder tackles and diving shoulders in the corner before hitting a fallaway slam that sent Kross to the floor.
Scarlett got in Moss’ way to give Kross the upper hand, but Moss fought out of a Krossjacket by dropping to the mat, and Kross locked in it again for the submission.
After the match, Emma ran down to check on Moss, furthering their new storyline for the couple.
