Tonight, we will be hearing from the AEW World Tag Team Champions. After their huge title defence over Swerve In Our Glory at Full Gear, everyone has been wondering what is next for the champions. Simply put, they need to prove without a doubt they’re the best tag team in the world.
The Acclaimed Want To Wrestle The Best In The World
Before answering what is next for The Acclaimed, they’d call out Jeff Jarrett for interrupting them scissoring. Either they’re jealous of The Acclaimed, or want a title shot – but they will need to wait. There’s a team ahead of them in line, and everyone in the arena already knew it was FTR.
The Acclaimed are fighting champions, the people’s champions and the people’s voice. People have wanted The Acclaimed to fight the best… and instead, The Gunns would come out. Jeff Jarrett and his crew would follow, and Billy Gunn would say again that they want to fight the best. FTR would finally come out, hitting the ring and shaking on it with The Acclaimed.
We don’t know when this match will happen, or if The Gunns will get in the way first – but The Acclaimed vs. FTR is now on the menu, and Tony Khan won’t delay in setting that match up.
Jeff Jarrett Wrestles On TNT For First Time In 21 Years
After making his AEW in-ring debut at Full Gear, Jeff Jarrett makes his long awaited return to TNT tonight on AEW Ramage. Teaming with Jay Lethal, and having Satnam Signh & Sonjay Dutt in his corner – he’ll face one of the young and rising teams of AEW. Private Party recently had their contracts handed over to The Firm, and tonight with the pressure of impressing Ethan Page & Stokely Hathaway behind them – they look to defeat a legend.
Lethal would kick things off with Kassidy, being tossed with an armdrag. Kassidy would go for a German Suplex, but took a heavy back elbow. Jarrett would tag into the match, his first time wrestling on TNT since 2001. He’d drop Kassidy with a stiff right hand, before Quen got the tag and the armbreaker. Some Poetry In Motion would be followed by a dropkick, before a double stomp to the arm.
Kassidy would be thrown to the floor and into the steps by Jay Lethal, before Jarrett would keep the pressure on in the ring. Jarrett would set up Kassidy on the middle rope with a running leg drop before a lariat. Kassidy would show some life – hitting a snap stunner on Jarrett before the tag to Quen.
A flying crossbody and Flapjack Dropkick would be followed by a dive onto Jarrett. Silly String would land on Lethal, before the 450 Splash would miss. Lethal & Jarrett would hit a Lethal Injection/Stroke Combination – and this match was over.
Saraya Wants Gold
The in-ring return of Saraya at AEW Full Gear was an emotional time for her and her fans, and tonight – we will catch up with Saraya. She sat down with longtime friend and AEW backstage interviewer Renee Paquette – and intends to shed some light on her future plans.
Saraya never thought she’d be back in the ring after a long five years away. She feels incredible, and it was great to be able to share these experiences with her family. Full Gear as a whole was a massive night for the AEW women’s division, with her big return and Jamie Hayter winning the belt. Saraya will be going after that championship herself – and everyone will need to watch out for her going forward.
