‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set to keep things rolling as we dive into another character building episode.
There’s some pretty cool angles that can come out of this episode, and we’re ready to get into the spoilery goodies with plenty of comfort food and popcorn at the ready. Let’s tear into them!
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Thursday, December 29: Catching up on old times
Danny Romalotti (Michael Damien) will continue his return tour of Genoa City by running into a couple of old acquaintances, which may give us some fun flashbacks, and we’re always in the mood for flashbacks.
CBS “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers suspect Danny will cross Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) and Lauren Fenmore (Tracey Bregman)’s paths at Society or another establishment and the three of them won’t waste any time chatting away.
This will be a fun scene as they’ll get caught up and delve into what’s new for each of the, and of course, what’s on the horizon for them. Especially Danny’s.
We don’t think he’s returned for anything sinister, but there is a trend on this show of having old loves come back and try to rekindle things, so we expect Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell)’s names to come up at some point.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Thursday, December 29: Looks like the end
While some are returning to Genoa City to recapture old love, others are going to learn to let their go, and that’s the decision Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will come to.
Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) isn’t an easy person to deal with at times, but he’s prove to be a straight shooter over the last few years and he deserved better than everyone telling Lily she deserves better.
But he did have a hand in it by helping Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) and then being there for her to make sure she’s fine, which doesn’t sound all that sinister to us, but Lily’s feeling lonely.
For that reason, it’ll feel like a betrayal to her and the immediate scapegoat is Billy falling into his old habits, but we don’t think that’s exactly right.
One thing we’re curious about is how long were they going to couples’ therapy? Must’ve been an event to get both of them questioning their dedication to each other.
