It was a really big audience. More than 18 000 people attended the event. I don’t know what Elon Musk expected, but it seemed like the boos caught him off guard. In the first few seconds on stage, he expected applause and cheers. In the video, you could see it in the way he conducted himself while going up on stage. Elon raised his hands in a sign of victory or showing gratitude for the support. However, he didn’t receive support.
Loud boos and whistles started. As Elon Musk was preparing for it to end, it continued and appeared even louder and broader. Some critics and analysts immediately comment that this is just a real-time picture of Elon Musk’s popularity among the people. And they might be right on point on this one.

Elon Musk is usually flamboyant and irrepressible. However, since the boos caught him off guard, this time he did not know how to react. He remained speechless, asking Dave Chappelle what to say only.
