Impact Wrestling Results returned as Mickie James approached Jordynne Grace backstage and insisted Tasha Steelz is hers since Grace doesn’t think she can win.
Grace told her she wants her to beat her, and she’s going to be there to make sure it’s taken care of.
Still plenty of friction there.
Sami’s miscalculation
As expected, Sami Callihan came out and wasted no time in getting to business. He thought VBD was done when he took care of Eric Young, and now three more heads grew back even stronger.
He’s sick of getting beaten after each match and called Design out to the ring, and of course they came out but stopped on the ramp.
Deaner called him out for not being brave in calling them out, but that he’s sick and the sickness he has is simple: he sacrifices himself whenever he steps into the ring for the fans.
He claimed the fans will never care about him, and until he realizes that the sickness will continue to flow through his body. Of course, Deaner has the antidote for his sickness and it’s violence.
Sami said he’s not there to fight them or a truce, he’s there because the death machine wants to join the Design.
Angels mocked him for wanting to join, and Sami’s not the man he used to be and will never be one of the chosen few.
Sami explained that he softened Young up and something beautiful and violent grew out of his ashes and asked if the Design wants the Death Machine.
In answer, Deaner nailed him with the mic and Angels and Kon stomped him down. Then they held him for Deaner to go after his eyes and then hit a DDT.
Backstage, Josh Alexander told Tommy Dreamer he forgives him if that’s what it takes for him to leave Josh alone.
Mike Bailey vs. Yuya Uemura
This could be the best match of the night. Neither of these wrestlers have reached their peak yet, and we’re stoked to see what they’re going to give us.
They started off trading hold and moves as they felt each other out with Bailey hitting a kick off the ropes to get the early advantage.
Yuya turned up the heat and caught Bailey with some chops and a dropkick before he hit a belly to back suplex for a near pinfall. He then sent Bailey to the floor with a clothesline and Bailey looks liked he hurt his left leg.

Bailey hit a combination and a spinning splash for a near pinfall, then challenged Yuya to get up and he nailed some more kicks.
Bailey hit another combo and a double knee, but Yuya wouldn’t give up and caught Bailey’s windmill kick and absorbed several palm strikes before he hit a double underhook suplex to buy some time.
Yuya went for a crossbody off the top rope, but Bailey caught him with a double knee, and after hitting his third attempt at his windmill kick, landed an Ultimate Weapon for the win.
After the match, Kenny King appeared on the screen and he showed off how he’s in he arena in Mexico instead of in Fort Lauderdale since they don’t deserve him there.
