Bishamon still has a chance to get back to back victories in World Tag League, but it hinges on them winning every match they have left. They got a night off yesterday and two free points due to Chase Owens & Bad Luck Fale pulling out from the tournament – and tonight have a chance to take down Great-O-Khan & Aaron Henare. Henare & O-Khan had to work for their points last night when they faced EVIL & Yujiro Takahashi, and tonight that extra damage might be key in the result tonight.
Hirooki Goto Refuses To Kiss The Boot Of Great-O-Khan
Goto would choose to start alongside O-Khan, who wasn’t armed with a spear tonight. An opening sprawl would lead to a stalemate, before Goto was able to force O-Khan to the ropes, but allowed for a clean break. O-Khan would not be as merciful, as when he got Goto on the ropes he’d yank at the ear before striking YOSHI-HASHI off the apron.
Bishamon would come back with a double shoulder tackle, before Goto would launch YOSHI-HASHI with a hip toss into a senton. O-Khan would be beaten down with the War Drum – before he was able to choke Goto, first using his braid and then his hands. Finally, he’d use both – and got a warning from the referee as a result.
Some big Mongolian Chops would follow – before Henare hit the ring with a jumping senton. An elbow between the eyes would follow, before O-Khan would use Goto as his throne in the corner. The arms of Goto would be yanked back into an unnatural form, before the referees count would force O-Khan to let the hold go.
He’d want Goto to kiss his boot, but Goto refused and would fight back with a series of quick strikes and a lariat. O-Khan would be dropped with the Headhunter as YOSHI-HASHI hit the ring, before a stiff running chop. YOSHI-HASHI placed him over the top rope for a dropkick to the spine, before a dropkick to the face for a two count.
Bishamon End Things With A Violent Flash
YOSHI-HASHI would be nearly defeated with a snap suplex, before Henare hit the ring for the Rampage Tackle. This would be blocked with some desperate strikes, before a dropkick to the knee. Goto got the tag to hit the Spinning Wheel Kick into the corner, before a running bulldog for a two count.
United Empire would work together to sandwich Goto with strikes, before Henare would look to end this with Ultima. Goto would fight the application of the Full Nelson, before taking a stiff body blow. Streets Of Rage would be blocked, as YOSHI-HASHI fought free of the Eliminator slam.
Henare would take the Goto-Goto Hunter, before Shoto would be set. O-Khan would take out Goto by shoving YOSHI-HASHI forward, before applying the Sheep Killer with Henare and adjusting into a slam. Henare was thrown across the ring for the rising knee, with Goto able to dodge before taking a Rampage Tackle for the near fall.
Imperial Drop would be blocked, before Bishamon hit the Violent Flash right into Shoto for the finish. Bishamon moves to 8 points, and their chances of tournament victory remain intact, if slim.
Minoru Suzuki & Lance Archer Are In A Bad Mood
Suzuki-gun did not picture their match with Shane Haste & Mikey Nicholls going under two minutes yesterday, but that was the case when Haste was able to turn a chokehold from Suzuki into a pinfall for the win. This will just make them more angry than usual – and tonight they can take their anger out on the duo of EVIL & Yujiro Takahashi. Still not on the board and mathematically eliminated from World Tag League, EVIL & Takahashi would love nothing more than to play spoiler for Suzuki-gun tonight, and keep their misfortunes coming.
Archer would toss a Young Lion over the barricade before Suzuki’s music even hit, showing just what kind of mood he was in. Suzuki would enjoy the cheering crowd for the yelling of Kaze Ni Nare – before being jumped by EVIL & Takahashi. This one quickly spilled out to the floor – where Suzuki was driven into the barricade.
EVIL would focus on Archer, before nearly having one of his eyes torn out by The Murderhawk Monster. Suzuki grabbed a steel chair, but Takahashi used his cane as a counter – only for Archer to run him down. EVIL tried to use a chair to threaten Archer, only to flee when Archer armed himself.
Back in the ring, Suzuki would find himself choked in the House of Torture corner and responding with a smile. EVIL tried to chop the legend, but this just pissed Suzuki off. A rake to the eyes had a similar result, before Takahashi & EVIL would work together on the eyes of Suzuki – still only getting a one count.
House Of Torture Up Their Cheating Game
Suzuki would drop EVIL with a strike, before Archer tagged into the match for the first time. EVIL would be slung into the corner, before Takahashi tried for a sneak attack and was dropped. Dick Togo offered a handshake, only to be used as a weapon against EVIL & Takahashi.
A running crossbody would get Archer a two count, and Suzuki had recovered for a tag. Archer would be sent to the floor by EVIl, as Suzuki was tripped by Takahashi before a dropkick to the face. Suzuki would be shoved into the referee, before Togo got some cheap shots in.
The referee recovered as Suzuki hit the Gotch Style Piledriver, only for SHO to pull the referee from the ring. It would take four men and a low blow to drop Archer, before Suzuki was hit with a wrench and the STO for the finish – finally getting House of Torture a victory in World Tag League.
