Harry and Meghan’s new series comes shortly after the docuseries, Harry & Meghan which made history as Netflix’s biggest documentary debut ever with 81.55 million viewing hours. The duo shared love story and their time as working members of the royal family. They also revealed why they stepped down from their royal roles to start all over in California.
The couple first signed a multi-year deal with the streaming giant in September 2020. At the time, it was reported by The New York Times that their production hub, later named Archewell Productions, would exclusively create documentaries, docuseries, feature films, scripted shows and children’s program for Netflix. The Invictus Games Foundation announced in April 2021 that Archewell Productions was working on a Netflix docuseries about the epic event. The docuseries, Heart of Invictus, would follow the competition’s athletes.
