Jen Shah allegedly bought a lot of fake designer bags and jewellery which were confiscated by the authorities shortly after she was arrested for telemarketing fraud.
RHOSLC: Authorities Allegedly Confiscated Fake Bags And Jewellery From Jen Shah’s Home Amid Telemarketing Fraud Charges
Law enforcement took away more than 50 fake objects from the home which included many high-profile brands, such as Louis Vuitton and Jimmy Choo.
This does not come across well for the star, who is set to face her sentencing in the New Year over telemarketing fraud allegations. A collection of items, some of which were of designer quality, were seized in an attempt to acquire $6.5 million of the $9.5 million that the embattled celebrity was obligated to pay in restitution.
Shah is susceptible to a maximum sentence of 30 years of imprisonment and five years of monitoring upon release, yet her plea agreement consists of a confinement of 11 to 14 years and an obligation to reimburse up to $9.5 million.
Nevertheless, this just goes on to show how much Jen’s finances have been shady. It came to light that the New York Post uncovered the fact that the $3.9 million Salt Lake City abode Shah had been calling her “Chalet” was not actually hers.
Instead, it was owned by none other than a real estate rental company by the name of Univesco Inc. The fans on social media began to troll Jen in light of this revelation.
A significant proportion of people were of the view that she had no one to blame but herself. And in the process of doing so, the comments were very derogatory indeed.
One person wrote: “Lmao the shame of having fake designer shit. It just gets better & better. It’s all a front with most of these real housewives. actually most celebrities. It’s a facade.”
It is safe to say that this has not painted Jennifer in a positive light. So there you have it folks. What did you think about this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
