The New Day is the one team in WWE that can do no wrong. Not only do they make the company look great, but they do not cause any trouble. They have been rewarded for this time and time again. I think its time for them to ask for something new. To be allowed to go to NXT to have a run.
Why Should The New Day Return to NXT
Well, why wouldn’t they want to? They have done everything that they can on the main roster and they have beaten just about every team. What else is there to do? Who else is it to face?
Although The New Day still have a lot to give to the main roster even if they aren’t in the spotlight at all times, I think that they could easily give it to NXT. In exchange, they get fresh matchups to help get over.
Spending a year or even 9 months in NXT helping to bring the tag team division back to what it used to be would be great. I think that they wouldn’t mind being in Florida most of the time and having more time with their families.
What Would the New Day Do in NXT
The New Day is facing NXT Tag Team Champions, Pretty Deadly, at NXT: Deadline and I think that this could be a taste of something more that could be coming soon.
Of course, they will lose that match, but I think that it would be the perfect time for them to hard reset their position in NXT. While everyone probably think that the New Day should instantly be in the tag team title picture, I think otherwise.
I think that this loss would be the perfect opportunity for them to say that they are willing to go back to the bottom of the tag team division on NXT and work their way up to being the champions.
This will give them a chance to not only work with the tag teams that they currently have down there but ones that they may create in the near future. Imagine how much the New Day could help the future of the tag team division.
Both of them can also be used in a singles capacity every now and then to give some talent boosts to their creditability.
