‘General Hospital’ (GH) Spoilers here and we’re set to really dig into some more emotions in this episode and we have plenty of spoilery goodies to go around.
It’s going to be fun seeing an unlikely partnership when Ava Jerome (Maura West) learns Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) of all people wants to team with her.
And then there’s the fallout from Willow Tate (Katelyn MacMullen)’s leukemia. We’re ecstatic she’s not going to forego treatment out of spite, and that’ll leave one more issue for them to tackle.
Let’s dive in!
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers Wednesday, January 18: Not ready to move on
With everything coming to light, it looks like Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) will answer for her lies and the fact it was only done in the name of revenge on Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros).
We never said Nina was a saint and she should have told everyone Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) was alive, but it’s easy to forget her first instinct was to call Carly and tell her the truth, but Carly jumped to conclusion and went on the attack so Nina didn’t bother and things went from there.
So, since Nina kept the secret to pay back Carly for keeping the secret about Nina’s daughter, whom she was searching for. It’s fitting someone as controlling as Carly wouldn’t move on.
To hurt Nina, she decided to honor the wishes of a women who stole Willow, raised her in cults, and taught her to follow “strong leaders”, and pimped Willow out to a cult leader to gain her vengeance and then act high and mighty.
But it doesn’t look like forgiveness is coming just yet as Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) will call her actions exactly what they were: revenge.
He’s going to break away from the Cult of Carly and her hate for a while, and it may give him a new perspective about his own actions towards Sonny, who has continued to shown himself to be selfless toward his family even when they hate him.
Carly twice did exactly what Nina did one time. Carly has also refused to let anyone make decisions about her and her life, but she’s fine doing that to others and now she’ll pay the price for that arrogance.
It’ll take some time, but Carly will earn their forgiveness, but right now taking that option away from Willow will be too much for them to deal with.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers Wednesday, January 18: The enemy of my enemy
This is going to be a fun scene and ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers can’t wait to see how the new dynamic between Spencer and Ava will work.
According to the daily preview, it looks like Spencer will approach Ava about getting her help to take on and take down Nikolas Cassadine (Marcos Coloma).
He’s so intent on breaking the cycle that Spencer’s come full circle and has far surpassed the man Nikolas is.
As for Ava, we doubt she’ll pass up a chance to hit Nikolas where it’ll really hurt. But she won’t trust Spencer after everything that’s happened between them, and that’s to be expected.
It’ll keep both of them on their toes and lead to some fun barbs between them as well as interactions in general.
We’re definitely in for a fun ride in this episode.
How likely is it that Ava and Spencer actually form a good team and bond from this? Let us know in the comments below and check back with ABC “General Hospital” Spoilers for the latest updates, spoilers, and speculation.
