Good morning and welcome a new week of spoilery goodies with ‘General Hospital’ (GH) Spoilers! We’ve reached the pivotal point on Willow Tate (Katelynn MacMullen)’s storyline where she’s either going to get lucky or she’ll lose the gamble of her lifetime. With plenty to get to, let’s get started!
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Taking the gamble
With other treatments falling through, Willow will rely on the stem cells her baby can give her once it’s delivered, and best of all the baby won’t be harmed.
It’s tricky for a couple of reasons. Willow’s worried about the baby being premature, but we doubt that’ll be as big a factor as she expects. Instead, the problem will arise due to her leukemia.
Because her body’s taken such a beating from her illness, there’s the chance she won’t be strong enough to survive the c-section to bring the baby into the world.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers don’t think she’s going to die since there’s been no mention of the actress leaving the show, but there could always be a new character waiting in the wings for her.
This storyline is definitely going to bring the feels this week.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Nina’s second chance
Nina Reeves (Cynthis Watros) will start the week off thinking she’s going to lose her second daughter, and that’ll fuel her rage toward Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) for her part in causing the rift between her and Willow.
For a while, Nina and Willow had moved past their cantankerous relationship from the beginning into a more stable friendship when they bonded over not knowing their parents, losing a child, and so on.
But that changed when Nina learned Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) was her grandson and the war between her and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) escalated and Willow followed Carly’s lead and dug in after Nixon Falls when Nina kept Sonny a secret after he initial reaction was to tell Carly and Carly’s was to verbally attack her.
Nina’s not innocent in this, but she wouldn’t have pushed so hard had she known she was Willow’s mother, and then her chance of saving her second daughter was taken away by a cruel twist of fate.
But she’ll learn there is a chance for Willow to be cured and it’ll give her a second chance at being a mother she was previously robbed of, and that could be a good turning point in their lives.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Joss’ new confidant
Things are going to get interesting as Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy)’s life has been turned upside down through her actions or lack thereof, and she’s going to have a lot of emotions to deal with on top of Willow’s illness.
While she’s grown close to Dex Heller (Evan Hofer), there’s still plenty of distance between them as he hasn’t been too open about what he’s up to with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), but that’s a betrayal/meltdown of trust for a later time.
She’s accepted him for what he is at the moment and feels safe with him, so she’ll bare her soul.
While Dex will be there for her without hesitation, we’re curious if seeing her in so much pain will cause him to back out of his partnership with Michael, or confront Cameron Webber (William Lipton) about how his justified treatment of her.
