‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set to keep things rolling with some fun spoilery goodies. There’s a lot going on in Genoa City, and things are getting interesting now that everyone’s secrets are out in the open. All that’s left is to see what new developments are to come, and how much damage with be done along the way.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Tuesday, January 10: Going all in
Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) has proven herself time and again, and we’re hoping the writers aren’t going to pull out a lazy twist to end her story and make her the bad guy in some way.
There’s still plenty of chances to do that with Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) pimping herself out to fid out a truth she wants to believe despite Diane refusing to help Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) get Jabot’s financials and admitting it to everyone.
This could make things interesting as Diane will continue her attempt to get in good with Jeremy Stark (James Hyde), and Ashley could end up complicating things.
How will be interesting to see, but ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers think it’ll have to do with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) taking a risk to help Diane.
He and Ashley don’t see eye to eye on things, but we expect her to go to Jack with the reports and try to convince him to see Diane for what she isn’t. Except to the Mean Girls Club.
Jack will know about the financials and that Diane refused to hand them over, and that means he could consider Ashley took them to set Diane up, or that it was Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford).
There was that time when some fraudulent numbers were attributed to Diane and she accused Phyllis of it, but we never did get a resolution on that one way or the other.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Tuesday, January 10: Phyllis tries to bridge the gap
This is going to be an interesting scene as Phyllis will try to mend her relationship with Summer Newman (Alison Lanier), and we’re curious how this will go.
We’d like to think Summer is playing a con like Ashley, but we doubt it. In fact, the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree when it comes to blaming everyone but the person responsible when it comes to Diane.
With that being said, we’re interested in if their conversation will galvanize them into action against Diane and the supporting Abbotts.
Summer won’t turn on Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) easily, but if she starts to view him like Phyllis and Ashley do Jack, the poison will spread and she could end up tearing her family apart out of blind hatred.
But at least she’ll have her mom?
