‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re all set to get ready for hump day with some fun spoilery goodies to share.
This is going to be a fun episode once we get past the copy and past special, and it should give us some fun moments with plenty of arguing to keep things from getting dull. Without further ado, let’s dive in!
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Wednesday, January 11: It’s another manipulation moment
It’s hard to point to a Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) segment that’s not a copy and paste moment from a couple of weeks before, and in this one he’s going to give Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) a “reality check.”
We expect this to be the next part of their previous argument as Victor will once again lay down the law that Adam belongs there with his family and not out galivanting around or playing house with anyone Victor doesn’t approve of.
We’re sure he’ll share his Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) dossier with Adam, or lecture him how he needs to move on from her and Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) and move back to the ranch.
He may even offer to let Chelsea move in so he can keep a better eye on her if Adam agrees. We doubt this will work out for Victor, but he wont give up since manipulating his children is his favorite hobby.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Wednesday, January 11: A one man wrecking crew
It’s unfair for us to blame Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) for Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) coming to town to try and take over Chancellor-Winters when he learned it involved Devon, so we’re not even going to attempt that.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers will, however, put the blame for the rest of the fiascos they’ve dealt with at Chancellor-Winters squarely on his shoulders.
He didn’t want to do the merger from the beginning, and once it was done, instead of being a responsible adult, he shunned and ignored Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) until Nate thought he had to help a takeover to show he could do his job.
And then, Devon had no problem challenging Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) on her relationship with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), but then everyone did that as they don’t like anyone that can’t be forced into a position.
And now, he’s showing his true selfishness he’s given glimpses of by forcing Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) to sell him back his company or he’ll tell everyone about their problems.
Because of all of that, when he talks to Lily we have a feeling they’re not only going to disagree on how to handle their current crisis, but Lily will finally lose her stuffing.
She’s been very passive in allowing everyone to do what they want more than not, and this will feel like a huge betrayal from Devon and she may rip into him for it.
We doubt it’ll change anything if she does, but it definitely won’t if she doesn’t. Hopefully the writers will have her stand up and give Devon a piece of her mind for his constant selfishness and open up so many different storyline possibilities.
How do you think Lily will handle the news of Devon trying to strongarm them into selling him his company back? Let us know in the comments below and check back with ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers for the latest updates, spoilers, and speculation.
