Genoa City’s been a fun place to visit lately, and this episode is going to gear things down and throw us into some character building as new relationships are going to begin the forging process whether they want to or not. Let’s get to the spoilers!
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Thursday, January 12: Chelsea returns the gesture
It’s been fun watching Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan)’s relationship find new ground following her setback, and now Chelsea will take her biggest step forward when she helps Billy.
We’re so used to Billy being the one doing the helping it’s easy to forget that even rocks sometimes wear down, and his and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil)’s relationship ending was the final blow.
On the plus side, he’s proving once again he’s not the person he was despite popular opinion to the contrary, but he’ll still need a boost.
Chelsea’s taken a lot from him in help recently, and she’ll pay some of that back when she offers her moral support and helps to prop him back up.
It’ll be a fun scene that ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers expects will help kickstart their new relationship, and infuriate Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) to no end.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Thursday, January 12: Chloe with the sneak!
This is going to be an interesting scene simply because we have no clue what Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Erickson) has planned for Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), but we think it could be her way of helping Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope).
We think this could be a way Chloe will help Nick learn Sally’s pregnant and that he’s the father. We suspect she won’t mention Adam.
It’ll be her way of helping Sally to make a choice, and it could be interesting. We don’t expect Chloe to do something like this, but if it means no Adam, is there a line she won’t cross?
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Thursday, January 12: Daniel’s promise
Now that her relationship with Billy is over, Lily will be able to move onto her ex husband once he’s done trying to save his own relationship.
We haven’t been shy about out thoughts on why Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) has been there to comfort Lily, and when he promises to always be there for her if she needs to talk to someone, he’ll score another bonus point.
Sure, they’re exes and all of that, but both of them are lost sheep looking for a new home and it’s only a matter of time until they become an item again.
