Three Makeshift Tag Teams That Could Work on WWE Smackdown

Smackdown probably have the most talented tag team division in wrestling today. They have a lot of depth on the brand and most of the slots for this brand could probably be used help out the women’s tag team division. Here are three makeshift teams that could be used for the tag team division.

    Shanky and Madcap Moss

This is a classic throw two guys together and see what happens group. The first order of business for these two guys would be to change their name. Both of them have stupid names so they should switch them ASAP.

I don’t think that anyone in this team should get any ideas about success or ever winning the tag team titles. This could be one of those long term teams that get over with the crowd but never have any success.

They could also be a team that is fun with the live crowds, so with WWE getting back into the groove of doing house shows, a team like Shanky and Madcap could be one of those losing teams that crowds absolutely love.

    Xia Li and Sonya Deville

Xia Li recently had sort of a gimmick change recently, but there hasn’t been any follow up from it. It also seemed like she was heading toward some type of program or storyline with Emma, but that also never happened.

Sonya Deville is a person that WWE most likely have given up on pushing. In ring wise, she doesn’t hold up to what a lot of the women that are in the company now can do.

It seems like both of these women are going no where very fast. They would probably be nothing more than a team to take losses to whatever team is getting pushed.

In the long term, it is possible that Xia Li might be able to see a future after this tag team runs its course. She still have a lot to prove to fans but I don’t think that this tag team is the end for her.

    Ricochet and Braun Stroman

This is the one tag team on this list that would get over big with the fans and could possibly win the Smackdown tag team titles in the future.

Both Ricochet and Braun Stroman are fan favorites. The fans would get behind them big time. Both wrestlers would benefit from the tag team because they both have a pretty good presence on the show.

Also, both of them are in the Intercontinental Championship picture but at the moment, it seems like they aren’t going to win it anytime soon.

Even though this tag team would not be a long-lived tag team, both men would come out of it better. The best bet would be to leave one on Smackdown and send the other one to Raw after the team ends.
