Lately, Alexa Bliss has been showing some odd tendencies, with the influence of Bray Wyatt creeping back in. This makes her a very dangerous challenger for the dominant WWE RAW Women’s Champion Bianca Belair, as Bliss looks to reclaim the belt she once called her own. In the build to this match, Bliss has smashed the champion into the steel steps and put Belair out of action.
She’s made it clear that Belair does not need to be concerned with Bray Wyatt, Uncle Howdy, or anyone but Bliss – who claims to be the true Face of Evil. It seems clear that someone is pulling the strings from afar, but Bliss is dangerous enough on her own – and that alone is bad news for Belair.
Bianca Belair Puts Away Alexa Bliss In Quick Fashion
Belair would start off fast with a charge into the corner, before Bliss was able to wrestle her down to the mat and into a modified Bow & Arrow Stretch. She would use the braid of Belair to add extra pressure, before applying a side headlock on the mat. Bliss would let the hold go for a pinfall, before going back into the rear chinlock.
Belair would turn Bliss around into a powerful suplex, before some clubbing blows to the spine. She would hit some downward punches in the corner, before setting up the back handspring moonsault in the middle of the ring – with Bliss getting her knees up. Bliss was dropped with a flapjack, and the back handspring moonsault landed a second time.
Belair would try for the powerbomb, with Bliss able to counter into a DDT for a near fall. Jumping knee drop and senton would follow, before Bliss would look for Sister Abigail. Belair was able to catch her with the KO-D – and just like that, this match was over. Belair retains the RAW Women’s Championship.
After the match, a cryptic video of Bliss during her time under Wyatt would air, asking if she feels like she is in charge. She would be left horrified in the ring, and it seems clear that she is not The Face of Evil.
