When it was announced that Triple H would be bringing WarGames to Survivor Series, it was clear that Damage CTRL would be involved. Bayley, Dakota Kai & Iyo Sky will united with Nikki Cross & Rhea Ripley tonight, with Bayley & Cross entering the double caged structure for the very first time. They will be facing down RAW Women’s Champion Bianca Belair, Mia Yim, Asuka, Alexa Bliss and a returning Becky Lynch – and that’s ten dangerous women to be placed in a cage. With WarGames, two will start this match – with members from each team entering at three minute intervals – with Damage CTRL having the advantage. You can only win once everyone in the ring.
Bianca Belair & Dakota Kai Are In For A Long Night
Starting for her team would be Belair – being the only member of the team with experience in the match from her time in NXT. Meanwhile, Dakota Kai is starting for her team – being the most experienced woman in the match. Kai & Belair would kick things off, with five minutes on the clock before another member of Damage CTRL hits the ring.
Belair would run Kai down with a shoulder tackle, before trying to throw Kai into the cage. The braid would be used by Kai to get free, before again narrowly avoiding the steel. Backbreaker would land on Kai, before she’d find her feet and nail a boot to the face in the corner. Kai would kick Belair between the two rings, only to be dropped with a suplex.
Belair took the Scorpion Kick – but would regain control before a powerbomb into the steel. Iyo Sky would hit the ring next, putting Belair alone with the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions for the next three minutes. Kai would be recovering as Sky would nail a dropkick, before Belair would be hit with a flurry of strikes in the corner. Belair would manage a double suplex before Sky came back with a double springboard dropkick.
Asuka was next to hit the ring – evening the odds and catching Kai with a German Suplex. Sky & Asuka would trade blows next, with Sky able to take Asuka down with a slick armdrag before taking a back elbow smash. Asuka hit a pop up knee, before sweeping the leg and hitting a running knee smash.
Kai would find herself on the bad end of a press slam, being thrown into the cage before Asuka hit a diving dropkick on Sky. Damage CTRL regained control just before Nikki Cross would start to fill the ring with weapons from under the ring. Two kendo sticks, garbage can lids aplenty, more kendo sticks, and a cage door to the face of Asuka.
Cross would hit a swinging DDT on Belair, before she’d whip Asuka & Belair with her coat. The trash can lid would do some damage, before Bliss hit the ring to even the odds. A former partner of Cross, Bliss would not hold back – hitting a dropkick before helping set up a bulldog onto a trash can lid. Cross would be disarmed before Belair broke a kendo stick in two.
Kai & Sky meanwhile armed themselves and took Belair down – before Asuka & Bliss took them down – all while Cross sat above the cage and waited for a chance to jump. Everyone was dropped by this, and Bayley would march to the ring and grabbed two ladders and a table. Belair would be wedged between the space between the ring and a cage with a table, before helping Sky hit a moonsault on Bliss.
An assisted double stomp to Bliss would follow, before Mia Yim hit the ring with some trash cans – using one to take Kai from the sky. Yim hit the flapjack on Cross before a trash can lid to the throat of Sky. Kawada kicks to the face of Kai was followed by an Implant hurricanrana into the trash can lid. Cross latched onto the back of Yim with a choke only to be thrown off.
The Match Beyond Begins
Yim would hit a spear – launching between the two rings to connect with Bayley. Rhea Ripley would finally enter the match, going right to work with heavy strikes to everyone standing. Ripley would be calm in the violence, being perfectly at home getting to slam someones head off the steel, like she would do to Yim. Sky hit a dropkick to the face of Asuka, before Lynch would hit the ring… meaning this match really starts now!
Lynch would strike away at the opposing team before having a Bexploder blocked. A kick to the face would follow to Sky, before raking her face along the cage. Cross tried to make the garbage can save, but got Sky instead. The can was placed on the head of Sky, as Lynch hit a leg drop. Lynch & Bayley would brawl it out before coming face to face with Ripley.
Ripley would hit a headbutt and look for the Riptide – planting Lynch for a two count. Asuka got Ripley with the Green Mist, as Bayley tied Lynch up in the Tree of Woe for a jumping stomp the face. Rose Plant would get a two count, before we’d get a pile up of bodies in the corner – but Cross prevented Belair from the tower of doom.
Cross had a pair of handcuffs, and would use them on Bliss and herself. Bliss would accept this and set up an Electric Chair Drop – landing on the trash can herself. Ripley would recover from the Green Mist to the eyes, as Sky would go to the top of the cage for a moonsault. Belair hit the KOD into the cage, before Lynch dove from the top of the cell with a leg drop to pin Dakota Kai!
