Tonight should be a fun one with GUNTHER defending his Intercontinental title against Braun Strowman and Sami Zayn has to defeat Kevin Owens at all costs for Roman Reigns.
Let’s get to the action!
Intercontinental Championship – GUNTHER (c) vs. Braun Strowman
Strowman held his own during their first lock up, and then GUNTHER headed to the floor as he played mind games.
He searched for a weakness on Strowman and tried to work on Strowman’s injured left arm, but Strowman threw him to the floor and followed him out and threw him into the ring steps.
When GUNTHER stayed on the floor, the Strowman Express ran him over. He then went to spear him into the ring steps, but GUNTHER shoved him into the ring post and slammed Strowman’s left arm into the ring steps and apron.

GUNTHER chopped Strowman down and kept working on Strowman’s left arm.
Strowman rallied with several heavy rights followed by a backdrop.
While GUNTHER hep the ref busy, Imperium attacked Strowman but he fought them off and hit a powerslam for a near pinfall
They exchanged hits before Strowman hit the turnbuckle with his injured shoulder and GUNTHER hit a drop kick for a pin attempt, and then a splash for a near pinfall.
GUNTHER kept at it and hit a powerbomb and stacked Strowman up for the win.
Backstage, Sami Zayn went to Roman Reigns’ locker room and was greeted by Paul Heyman, and Zayn was surprised to find Heyman was the only one there.
The goal is for Zayn to handle Kevin Owens by himself.
Kross attacks Rey
Rey Mysterio came out to the ring and he talked about how the holidays are special to him and he cherishes the time he spends with his family at Christmas, but he didn’t have a Merry Christmas.
He called Dominik out for ruining it and how Dom is walking around like he’s a thug and he’s fed up with it.
He wants to get back on track, and that’s entering and winning the Royal Rumble match. Karrion Kross came out in response and stood across from him in the ring.

Kross mocked Rey for being older and how he won it 17 years ago and further mocked the moment for him and Dominik. Then he pointed out Rey wouldn’t know since he was never around Dom.
He asked Rey is he’s angrier that Dom didn’t end up like him, or that he failed to raise him to be just like him.
Rey attacked him and went for a 619, but Scarlett tripped him in the ropes and Kross locked in the Kross Jacket.
Xia Li vs. Tegan Nox
Nox gained the upper hand early on with a series of rights and followed it with a front slam and cannonball.
Li turned it around after slamming Nox off the top rope and beating her down with a series of strikes and a suplex before she went for a spinning kick but Nox ducked and hit a Shining Wizard for the win.
Backstage, Sheamus and Drew McIntyre has a friendly dispute on whether they face the Usos or Viking Raiders tonight. Adam Pearce put them in a tag team tournament next week and they’ll face the Viking Raiders first.
