It has been reported that Prince Harry, in a state of inebriation, stumbled and fell into a guard’s sentry box, inadvertently setting off an alarm that prompted an armed response from both palace guards and police officers at St James’s Palace.
A Drunk Prince Harry Set Off An Alarm Leading To An Armed Response-‘He Was Slurring His Words, Very Abusive,’ Claims Ex-Soldier
In 2012, when the Duke of Sussex was 27 years old, a former soldier claimed he was “blind drunk”. The ex-soldier divulged that an alarm went off at approximately midnight, prompting three members of the royal residence’s Quick Response Force and two armed London Metropolitan Police officers to race to the location.
In his comments, he said: “He was slurring his words, not making any sense. When we tried to pick him up he started yelling, “get off me, I don’t need any help. He was pushing us off and being very abusive.”
The collective assisted the ex-working royal as he returned to his living space prior to them departing and allowing him to rest.
The subsequent morning, an officer rang the guard quarters and demanded that the occurrence be kept confidential, according to the ex-serviceman’s testimony.
Harry’s past social habits, which are widely known, have included a notorious excursion to Las Vegas in which he was photographed wearing only a necklace after a game of strip billiards.
Not only that, but he also recalled losing his virginity to an older woman in a field behind a pub in his memoir. The fans on social media began to mock the Duke of Sussex, and made a running joke out of the whole incident.
And in the process of doing so, the comments were very brutal indeed. One person wrote: “No doubt he is mentally scarred from the incident,” while another person stated: “And logically, he forgot to mention this in his storybook.”
It is fair to say that this was not Harry’s finest moment at all. So there you have it folks. What did you think about this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
