‘General Hospital’ (GH) Spoilers have been noticing a few possible storyline angles that could be coming up, and one of the biggest is how Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) is providing the perfect scapegoat Ava Jerome (Maura West) needs.
This is purely speculation and will provide some interesting problems for Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) to overcome, but it’s possible they’ll figure out a way for Ryan to take the fall for Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss)’s death.
We know, this sounds out there even for a soap that had a weather dominator, but let’s dive in.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Perfect timing
Granted, Ryan showing up while Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) was there puts a crimp in this idea, as does the fact Nikolas has been dead for a day or so by now, but it will be an opportunity.
We expect Austin to play a role in thwarting Ryan’s plans to kidnap and murder Ava, but since he’s in the stables, it’s a little hard to work out how.
We’re guessing their original plan was to make Nikolas’ death look like it was due to a horse kicking or stomping on him, and that may be Austin’s plan since he’s at the stables.
While that’s not technically “getting rid of Nikolas”, it does fit the definition to a point.
Austin could run into Heather Webber (Ally Mills) and Esme Prince (Avery Kristin Pohl) while he’s there if they took to exploring the grounds for reasons only Heather would understand, and that could set off the whole chain of events.
Chances are they could discover Nikolas’ body in a chair or something like that and Heather will whack him over the head to knock him out.
While that’s happening, Austin could be working to tie the two of them up so he can help Ava and Felicia before things get a little dicey for them.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Too many moving parts
While it’s plausible, there are a lot of moving parts and it’d take the same type of suspension of disbelief it took to believe Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) could survive major hypothermia for a couple of days before he was found in Nixon Falls.
Because of that, we’re keeping an open mind on what could be coming our way with this storyline and it means our speculation could work out in some way.
Of course, Austin could be grinding Nikolas up into feed so there’s no body or Nikolas could be alive and knocked Austin out while he tries to escape.
At this point, we’re not putting anything past the show and we’re excited to see how they explain all of this.
What do you think? Are Ryan and company going to be the scapegoats for Nikolas’ death? Let us know in the comments below and check back with ABC “General Hospital” Spoilers for the latest updates, spoilers, and speculation.
