‘General Hospital’ (GH) Spoilers love it when the intensity gets ratcheted up, and there’s plenty of fun times ahead at Wyndemere.
Things are going to get interesting with an escape attempt taking a sideways turn to fulfill some revenge, and we have a feeling we’re just getting started. Let’s get into some spoilers!
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Hostage situation
We’re curious how the news will spread, but the Port Charles police force will learn Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom), Heather Webber (Ally Mills), and Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) are on Spoon Island and have hostages.
As things look, Ryan’s the one holding Ava Jerome (Maura West) and Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) hostage with Heather and Esme in tow.
This is going to be a fun dynamic since Esme won’t want to be there and we expect her to have a nervous breakdown or two as she struggles to deal with the situation.
That could help break through her memory block, or even submerge her memories deeper depending on which direction they want to go with it.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Austin’s down
Of course, there’s going to be an added element that could complicate things, and that’s the Hook attacking Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth).
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers doubt they’ll kill off Austin since we’re only just starting to learn about his past and ties, but anything’s possible for a shock value.
In this case, we’re playing a hunch that Heather didn’t bring or have a chance to coat the hook in the snake venom she’s been using, and that could buy Austin some time after he’s attacked.
But the notion that Heather would forget something like that seems unbelievable, so we expect this week’s episodes to cover a few hours or that the laws of physics to be shifted slightly in Austin’s favor.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Not backing down
With the hostage situation in full swing and knowing Felicia is being held is going to push Mac Scorpio (John J. York) over a line and he’s going to struggle to remain balances.
He’ll feel responsible for letting Ryan get the jump on him and he’ll insist on doing something to end the situation.
We don’t think he’ll totally rebel and take matters into his own hands, but we also don’t think he’ll hesitate to shoot Ryan if he gets the chance to end things once and for all.
It’s the gray area between those two points that are going to be fun to watch as his desperation to save Felicia grows and he’ll start to feel more and more helpless.
Will Mac snap and take matters into his own hands? Let us know in the comments below and check back with ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers for the latest updates, spoilers, and speculation.
