Jerry Lawler is Doing Better Following Massive Stroke According to Jim Ross
Lawler was found unresponsive in his Florida home and rushed to the hospital. While his condition wasn’t mentioned at the time, it was believed to have been another stroke.
That much was confirmed as fans were kept in the know on the WWE Hall of Famer’s condition. He has a history of medical issues that really manifested in the 2010s. First, he suffered a heart attack in 2012 and a stroke in 2018. So, Jerry Lawler had dialed it back as far as in-rimg involvement.
While he’ll be on the apron making for the tag. Once inside, he turned it up by hitting his moves of doom. This allowed him to keep going matches or involved in the action.
JR said of Lawler’s updated condition:
“I spoke very briefly with @JerryLawler tonight. He’s obviously weak but I could understand his affected speech. Jerry’s prognosis is positive but he needs all our thoughts and prayers. #LoveYaKing”
Jerry Lawler’s most recent match was in late January 2023 for an independent promotion in North Carolina.
