When King Charles III showed up at the University of East London, he chuckled in response to a comment made by a person in the crowd regarding Prince Harry.
King Charles III Chuckles After Member Of Public Says, ‘Please Bring Back Harry’
To celebrate the 125th anniversary of the University of East London, King Charles paid a visit and inaugurated their new frontline medical teaching facility. He also toured the campus during his stay.
The 73-year-old was welcomed with loud applause when he arrived at the location. As he greeted the people who were standing outside, one of the students in the gathering shouted out: “Please bring back Harry.”
Initially, the monarch had not understood what the individual from the public had said and thus requested one of his staff to explain it more precisely.
An assistant responded by stating: “Harry, your son.” Once it became clear what the person was referring to, Charles showed his hand.
The King laughed heartily without being noticeably troubled by the reference to the Duke of Sussex, who had caused a major upset in the Royal Family by releasing his autobiography recently, by simply saying: “Oh.”
This should not come as a surprise, as the firm has remained quiet in response to Harry’s memoir. Not only that, but by commenting on it, this would generate extra publicity for the book which is the last thing the firm needs.
This is especially since King Charles III’s Coronation is set to take place on Saturday, 6th May 2023. The royal fans on social media began to troll Harry in light of Charles’ response. A certain subset of people made it clear that the Duke of Sussex was no longer relevant.
One person wrote: “Harry who? Indeed. Well might he ask.. Most of us have a pretty good idea of the answer to that question, and the answer ain’t Windsor.”
So there you have it folks. What did you think about this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
