Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have no intention of reconciling, as they favour undermining the monarchy.
Harry And Meghan Don’t Want To Reconcile With The Firm-‘Seeking Ultimate Destruction, Not A Compromise,’ Says Dan Wootton
That is according to royal reporter Dan Wootton. The Sussexes have made a series of damning attacks against the firm through their Netflix docuseries and most recently, Harry’s memoir.
King Charles III’s wife Queen Consort Camilla has been labeled as a ‘villain,’ while Prince William was accused of assaulting Harry in the explosive memoir.
Despite this being the case, reports indicate that Charles has invited the Sussexes to his Coronation that is set to take place on Saturday, 6th May 2023.
It is not exactly clear if the couple will attend, but if they don’t, then that may say a lot about their motives. In his comments, Wootton said: “Harry and Meghan are seeking ultimate destruction, not a compromise.
“So if Charles wants to proceed with naively thinking the Sussexes can be included at the Coronation without causing any damage, it’s on him to make sure that the Prince of Wales is completely insulated.”
In reality, it is somewhat of a catch 22. If the Sussexes were not invited, then that would only strengthen their cause that the firm has been treating them harshly. But by allowing them to attend, there is always a risk that the pair could speak out.
However, there is another factor at play too. Since the Coronation is on the same day as Archie’s fourth birthday, there is the possibility that the couple could skip the Coronation simply to spend time with their son.
The public on social media understood Charles’ dilemma. People were of the view that the monarch was trying to avoid as much controversy as possible.
One person wrote: “I would be amazed, if King Charles threw, anyone anywhere. In my opinion he is just trying to keep the peace.”
So there you have it folks. What did you think about this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
