We are just a few sleeps away from the massive spectacle that will be WrestleMania 39. WWE has once again put together a massive show for their fans, who will travel from all around the world for two nights of action – and one wrestler hopes to be involved with both nights.
Becky Lynch is already set for a six woman tag team match match on the first night of WrestleMania 39 – but hopes to be “Becky Two Fights” by the time the weekend is through.
Becky Lynch Wants To Be Becky Two Fights At WrestleMania 39
While appearing on the Tommy Tiernan show – Becky Lynch would reveal that the six woman tag team match is set for the first night of WrestleMania 39 – and that she hopes to defend the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships on the second night. Lynch had the following to say.
“I’m going in on the first night in a Six-Woman match, and then because I’m tag team Champion, I’m hoping that I will be defending that title on the second night. So, ‘Becky Two-Fights,’ they’ll call me. I don’t know. They might. We’ll try to get that on a t-shirt or something.”
Back To Back Matches Would Help Cement Lynch As An “All Time Great”
Considering Lynch’s past at WrestleMania, being the first woman to win a main event match at the event – she’s no stranger to being a featured name at the event.
Having her work both nights of the event would show her status as a workhorse in the company, and only help the recent branding of her being an ‘all time great’ in the company.
This would also mean Lita works two matches at WrestleMania 39, as she is the current tag team partner of Lynch – having won the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships from Damage CTRL last month. Lita remains a nostalgic fan favourite, and getting two matches from her would be a welcome surprise for fans.
