‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set to kick off the new week with some fun spoilery goodies to share.
There aren’t many surprises in this episode, but we’re in for some fun interactions that’ll move some storylines forward and those should prove fun. Let’s get into some spoilers!
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Monday, March 13: Announcement time
While most things in Genoa City have been limping along as slowly as possible, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) kicked things into overdrive by becoming engaged when they didn’t have the weight drama on their shoulders.
And of course, there’s plenty of fun to be had when they start breaking the news.
On the plus side, they’re going to start in friendly-ish waters by sharing the news with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Summer Newman (Alison Lanier).
While they’ll be shocked, Kyle will be receptive to the idea if he can keep his anxiety about what could happen when and if things blow up.
As for Summer, she’s been moving closer and closer to Diane’s camp, but this could push her toward her mother’s side again, though we don’t see her going as deep down the rabbit hold as Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) has gone.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Monday, March 13: Trying to prevent trouble
Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) has been through this song and dance before, after all, it’s how her relationship with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) began.
Nate has a habit of falling for the women he works long hours with, and since he’s been more invested in work than not, Elena’s going to be giving Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) the side eye.
Elena will try to talk to Nate about it, and since Nate and Victoria did share a kiss, there will be something there and she could see it.
But there is a chance Nate will be able to lie to her about it, and that could set her off for a potential confrontation with Victoria in the coming days.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers don’t see this ending well for Elena despite Nate’s attempts to keep thing professional.
We doubt Elena will stop trying to figure out if something’s going on, and in the end her desire to protect her relationship could be what pushes Nate and Victoria together.
She just seems like she’s cursed as she wants to do the right thing and make sure everyone’s happy, but nothing ever seems to work out for her.
