‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set to dive into hump day with some fun spoilery goodies to share.
This looks like it’s going to be a fun character building episode as there’s plenty of seeds being planted for future episodes, and it should be see what blossoms. Let’s dig into some spoilers!
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Wednesday, March 8: Making a deal
Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) has plans in place to bring Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) into the fold once again, and he’ll take the first step by striking a deal with Adam to return as the head of McCall Unlimited.
Once Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) purchases it, of course.
And therein lies the crux of the problem, as Victor’s agreement with Adam will depend on whether or not she can convince Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) to convince Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) into not accepting Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John)’s offer.
If Victoria can’t pull it off, there’s a microscopic chance that Victor will hand her position to Adam, but we doubt that’ll ever happen barring a catastrophe of some sort, like a magically growing knife.
Still, there’s always a chance things will take an odd turn and nothing Victor could do to his offspring would surprise us.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Wednesday, March 8: Tucker’s against it
If there’s one thing ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers have to give Tucker, it’s his intent to set things right with Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) and Devon.
He’s not going to give up any time soon, but he’s working against the toughest opponent he’s ever faced – his past. While he’s being honest with Devon, Devon has legitimate reasons to doubt his honesty and desire to sell his company without a huge motive hidden somewhere.
Of course, this would be the perfect time for Nate to mosey in and try to help Devon walk away. While Nate’s been resistant to doing so, he may legitimately want to help Devon, and to that end he could approach Devon and offer him some insight and advice in what’s happening.
We don’t think he’ll betray Victoria or anything like that, but he’ll try to urge Devon to look at things with an open mind. That’ll set Devon’s radar on high alert and he’ll likely go against anything Nate suggests, which could mean he’ll buy McCall Unlimited just to spite Nate and take his chances.
