Lucas was really excited to team up with Roman and take out Orpheus in a bid to avenge his mother, Kate Brady’s death. Fans could see that he had revenge on his mind and he really wanted to get it done. So, when Lucas suddenly stopped the plan at the last minute, he became upset.
He refused to believe that Kate had contacted contacted Roman through her urn. He didn’t even believe Orpheus’ tale. Do Roman, Steve, and John believe the story about the Kate, Kayla, and Marlena being alive, a DiMera being the orchid thief and having the women?

Although Roman is unable to prove anything, he remembers a past event when he and many people were believed to have died as a result of Stefano Dimera’s trick. The “dead” people were taken to an island called Melaswen.” They were later returned back to the town. People at home already believed that they were dead.
The mass death trick by Stefano was all very much like an Orpheus designed mind game; a mass hallucination. Anna and Tony DiMera can remember. They even told John and Steve who had something with Megan last summer that she was not dead. They claimed to know the way through the tunnels. According to their theory, Megan has the three women, not a DiMera.

A grieving Lucas questions how Orpheus would know these things if he is not in contact with Megan or somebody who is also there. What if he is wrong about the info and is only leading the men into danger. This will only cause the family more grief and it will be for nothing.
Days of Our Lives Spoilers tell us that Roman will Lucas for the sake of his mum to give it some time and make peace with him. Lucas may eventually do that, but it will surely take some time. However, one thing is certain; he won’t let Orpheus get into his head or use alcohol against.
