Their work in All Elite Wrestling, New Japan Pro Wrestling and Ring of Honor has allowed fans to see FTR have numerous five star classics – and raised their stock in the process. This has led to interest from WWE in bringing them back, and AEW ready to match any price to keep them around. While nothing is official yet – FTR has chosen what comes next in their career.
FTR Have Made Their Choice On What Is Next In Their Career
Dax Harwood would share this information on Twitter, saying that the choice on what comes in April once their AEW contracts end has been decided.
”Just got off the phone with Cash. We’ve decided what we’re going to do come April. NOTHING is official yet, so legally, can’t speak on it, but in the next couple of weeks, we’ll let all of our fans know. We owe it to y’all for the opportunities we have in front of us. Love y’all.”
Upcoming AEW World Tag Team Championship Match Could Reveal Their Choice
Right now, FTR have been put back on AEW TV – making their return at AEW Revolution to confront The Gunns. They would follow up by saying it is their intentions to challenge for the AEW World Tag Team Championships, looking for their second reign with the belts. However, with time left in March – it’s possible for FTR to have this match, putting over The Gunns for a second time and helping to legitimise them as champions.
With that match likely to happen very soon – watching how it goes could reveal the future of FTR. If they become two time AEW World Tag Team Champions – it will be clear that they are sticking with AEW for another contract. However, if they lose – we can safely bet on a WWE return following WrestleMania 39. Either way, FTR are set to become a top tag team once again in 2023 – and more great matches will be on the way.
