Ramsay Hunt syndrome is an infrequent neurological condition that typically impacts individuals who are above the age of 60.
The disorder is distinguished by partial or complete facial paralysis or weakness, called facial palsy, and an eruption around the ear or mouth.
Generally, the symptoms occur on one side of the face. Furthermore, it may also cause tinnitus (ringing in the ear) and hearing loss.
On Wednesday, 15th 2023, the singer posted a video on his Instagram Story to inform his fans about his current health status.
In the video, he showcased the movement of his facial features by blinking, rolling his eyes, and raising his eyebrows, while the camera zoomed in on his face.
As the video drew to a close, the Grammy recipient appeared on camera with a wide smile. Bieber was dressed in a blue and yellow puffer jacket, layered over a gray hooded sweater. The caption on his video read: “Wait for it.”
This is significant in light of the following points. First of all, this arrived following the cancellation of his Justice World Tour in September to prioritize his health.
He disclosed that he had made a choice to pause in order to relax since his well-being should be his main focus. Bieber shared a video where he displayed his partially paralyzed face, revealing that he was unable to blink to his fans.
