Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were reportedly subjected to racist treatment by other members of the Royal Family, but those claims have divided people including Megyn Kelly.
Megyn Kelly Slams Harry And Meghan-‘They’re Loathed Now’
The couple made the decision to relocate to the United States, where they have formed relationships with influential individuals in the entertainment industry.
However, not everyone is a fan of the couple, as they have faced criticism. Despite receiving negative feedback from many, the South Park creators were not the only ones who have expressed their disdain for the Royal couple.
And that is when Kelly came out with some very blunt words. In her comments, she said: “They’re loathed now. They lost all their approval. They were above water before their Netflix special and the book Spare.
“And now they’re below water, both of them. They’re the least popular royals. They’ve overtaken Prince Andrew as the least popular.” This is significant, as it demonstrates that the Sussexes need to rebrand moving forward.
However, there is an argument that this is far from the case. Reports have indicated that Meghan may come out with her very own memoir, Spare. Not only that, but further reports stress that she could reprise her blog, The Tig.
And if her main currency is talking about the firm in a negative manner, then that would not go down well. Reporter Emily Jashinsky had this to say: “There is a lot of interest, obviously, in people who are willing to criticize them.
“People are actually like ‘what are you talking about?’ You’re insulting this country, you’re insulting decent human beings and you’re trying to make money and profit off of all of it.”
Whether Harry and Meghan listen to public opinion is anyone’s guess, but if they want a brand that has longevity, then surely something has to change.
