In the wake of King Charles III’s demand that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle move out of Frogmore, Piers Morgan has called for the removal of their royal titles.
Harry And Meghan’s Titles Should Go Following Frogmore Eviction-‘A Line Must Be Drawn,’ Says Piers Morgan
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have verified they received a request to leave the cottage, given to them by the late Queen Elizabeth II when they wed in 2018. They are currently making plans to send the rest of their possessions to California.
It is alleged that Andrew has been given the opportunity to move into Frogmore, however, he is allegedly refusing to move away from the Royal Lodge in Windsor, where he has been living.
But to add insult to injury, Morgan has now demanded that the monarch go a step further by removing royal titles. In his comments, Morgan said: “There comes a point in every such dispute when a line must be drawn in the sand.
“If one of my three sons publicly repeatedly trashed our family in the way Harry’s trashed his, they wouldn’t be getting the ash from my annual Christmas Day cigar.”
This begs the question: will it happen? Well, if the titles were removed, then it would firmly suggest that there is no chance of a reconciliation. Harry has previously admitted that removing the titles would not make a difference.
However, the star power that has been generated by them, as shown in the lucrative contracts the Sussexes have managed to get via Spotify and Netflix, it suggests otherwise. And if Frogmore is no longer available, the same could follow with the titles.
Royal expert Tom Bower had this to say: “Harry and Meghan provoked him [King Charles] with Harry’s disgraceful book and the interviews he gave.”
We will have to see how this will all play out moving forward. So there you have it folks. What did you think about this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
