Alison Steadman, the actress renowned for her role in the tv show Gavin and Stacey, has voiced her opinion that Prince Harry should shut up.

Her comments were made in relation to Harry’s memoir Spare. The Duke has made some damning remarks against his family. He accused his brother, Prince William, of assaulting him, as well as shouting and screaming at him during a meeting about Megxit.
And given that King Charles III’s Coronation is coming up on Saturday, 6th May 2023, Alison advised him to not speak too much. After all, reports have stressed that the couple have been invited to attend the Coronation.
In her comments, Alison said: “I think it’s very sad and I’m really glad the Queen isn’t alive to witness it.I think it’s a disgrace. It was his prerogative to leave the royal family and they let him, so I think he should just get on with it and shut up.
“I won’t read the book. I can’t bear to.” Much in the same way, Alison spoke positively over the monarch. She recalled that her position as an ambassador for the Marie Curie cancer charity enabled her to come into contact with King Charles.
This may explain why she has decided to be so frank in her comments against the Duke. Her following comments confirmed as much: “He’s a very warm and friendly man.
“You don’t feel intimidated in any way. I met him before, some years ago, and he’s probably seen me on telly and he just turned around and went, ‘Oh! Hello, hello,’ and it was just like meeting a fan.”
The response on social media was much the same. This was on the basis that Harry’s remarks only go on to damage any chances of a reconciliation. One person wrote: “She’s spot on about the odious little toad.”
