‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set to kick start a new week with some fun spoilery goodies to go around.
It’s been a minute since the last episode was aired, but it’s all good as we get a whole week for the bicentennial celebration. Without further ado, let’s dive in!
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Monday, March 20: Preparing for the big moment
With the bicentennial celebration in Genoa City upon us, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will be leading the charge in planning for the event, and it looks like it will be at the Newman’s so it makes sense for her to be in charge.
But even Nikki can only do so much, so she’s going to ask Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) for a helping hand.
Between them, we expect a celebration that’ll be remembered for years to come. To help ensure that, it looks like they’re going to plan a masquerade ball as the theme.
Of course, nothing ever goes smooth in these big celebrations whether they’re magically growing knives that go from the kidneys to the heart, or something unexpected like a murder of grand theft.
If we had to guess, “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers expect the gala to be the end of Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) with plenty of finger pointing afterwards.
But we’ve got some time until we get to that point, so we’ll keep our ideas on the down low for the time being.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Monday, March 20: Setting a trap
Of course, mentioning Stark possibly being killed off at the gala plays into this segment and how Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) will finally get some payback on Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford).
Phyllis has done everything she can to make Diane’s life miserable because of her past, and we think Diane will find a way to trick Phyllis into admitting she’s up to something.
How she’ll do that and to what extent it’ll go is anyone’s guess, but we expect it to push Phyllis deeper into her psychosis and go even more in with Stark to get rid of Diane.
Someone really needs to wrap Phyllis up in a straight jacket and get her some helps before she does something there’s no coming back from.
Given how things are going, Phyllis will need more than an intervention to help her, but until then we’re curious how far she’ll fall before attempting to right herself.
Do you think we’ll have a surprise or two during the gala? Let us know in the comments below and check back with “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers for the latest updates, spoilers, and speculation.
