‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re all set for the bicentennial gala. We even dusted off our best duds and have the dip all set to go.
This should be a fun episode as we hope they’ll bring everyone in like they did in years gone by with introductions, snide remarks, and commentary from the onlookers.
Of course, since it’s a masquerade ball there’s plenty of fun to be had as there will be so many opportunities for some mayhem to be created.
Without further ado, let’s dig into some spoilery goodies!
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Thursday, March 23: Welcome to the party!
Nothing like the host and hostess showing the world they’re world beaters by welcoming everyone to the gala.
Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will be in her glory for putting it all together with Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland)’s help, and she should be.
“The Young and the Restless” Spoilers are looking forward to seeing the final results, and we expect Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) to be just as pleased at the result.
Of course, the real treat will be the flashbacks to past years celebrations and seeing how this gala holds up.
It should be fun seeing the different groups separate into their cool kids cliques and what kind of trouble they’ll get up to before everything’s said and done.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Thursday, March 23: Let the games commence
While we don’t expect there to be anything sinister happening just yet as we’ll be allowed to relax and enjoy the pageantry, there will be some early teases of what’s to come.
Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) will be true to his word and slip in unnoticed because why would the Newmans have tight security?
He’ll set up what he has planned for Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters), and we suspect it’ll happen right after she and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will make their big announcement.
Of course, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will be off to the side trying to look innocent and choked when Stark’s plan goes or and either kills Diane or injures someone else everyone loves.
However it plays out, Phyllis will sink deeper into her self made hole as she’ll continue to unravel and act more erratically.
In the end, we have no doubt things will go wrong and Phyllis will likely be the one with all of the evidence pointing towards her.
She won’t have much of an argument for her innocence given everything she’s done, and we doubt many if anyone will listen to her if she does.
